I have been following the Volvo Ocean Race over the last number of months, these guys are completing some amazing challenges and sailing around the world against some of the best sailors around.
The short leg from Lisbon to Lorient has proven to be one of the most difficult yet, due to the storm and low pressure that is now gracing us causing this current weather.

I found this marketing video today from McDonald's It's a nice example of a corporation taking the time to explain a difference that I'm sure most people have noticed about fast food.
I know its a little of a cheat with regards to marketing material, but they at least explain why they do what they do to make the food appear as it does.

The Sumida River that runs through Tokyo, Japan was lit up by 100,000 solar powered LED lights for the 'Tokyo Hotaru Festival' by Panasonic. The LED's where designed to light up upon contact with water and lit up blue to create the illusion of making the river appear alive.

I am becoming a big fan of spotify and the service they are providing around the world. It really is an impressive feet that they are able to provide so much music (current or not), to so many people and starting at a cost of Nothing; and now they are taking things one step further with their relatively new step into the social sharing, dubbed the 'Play Button'.

Even though Google are arriving at this particular party trailing behind (cloud drives that is), I was quite excited to see their product arrive and with some nice integration into Google Documents and other services like email, they always make very interesting and impressive online services so why should Drive be any different.
